He strives to live Legacy's Personal Touch Culture by cultivating a caring, loving, and purposeful community. Ken is blessed with a wonderful wife, eight children, and, much to his delight, grandchildren. He enjoys riding his motorcycle with his wife, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Michele Cockayne, Sales & Marketing Director

Michele joined the Legacy family after being a stay-at-home mother for 16 years. She began her career at Legacy House of Taylorsville with a deep desire to touch the lives of each resident there. To her great surprise, the residents have been the ones to touch her life! She loves to laugh or cry with the residents and spend time talking with them. Michele feels fortunate to glean from the wisdom the residents have gained during their own lives. She feels lucky to work in a community that she loves and that blesses her life so much. Michele has been married for over 25 years, is the mother of four children, and loves spending time with them and her grandchildren.

Joy Jones, Assistant Administrator

Joy’s career began in the United States Army. After retiring from service, she decided she wanted to work with children and became an elementary school teacher, and later earned her master’s degree in education. She found education to be very rewarding, and recently decided to expand into the healthcare field. Joy became a CNA in 2020 and found a love for working with older adults. She recently graduated with a master’s degree in healthcare administration and looks forward to serving the wonderful residents of Legacy House. When not at work, Joy loves to quilt and spend time cooking with her family.

Rose is proud to work in a community with associates who truly care for residents and their families. Her favorite thing about Legacy is that there is a real sense of love. Rose shares with families who are considering moving a loved on into a community that Legacy House of Taylorsville was a lifesaver for both of her in-laws and for her family.
