Nathan Cluff, Executive Director
Nathan has worked in senior care administration since 2007 and joined the Legacy House of Taylorsville team in August of 2017. He has an undergraduate degree from BYU in Economics and a dual Masters in Business and Health Administration from the University of Utah. Nathan loves the Personal Touch Culture and considers the best part of his job being able to get to know and love the residents, families and staff at Legacy House of Taylorsville. Nathan feels blessed to have a wonderful wife and 4 amazing children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time in the mountains with his family as well as reading, golfing, ice fishing, gardening and playing board games.
Michele Cockayne, Marketing Director
After being a stay-at-home mother for 16 years, Michele decided that she would venture back into the workforce. She began her career at Legacy House of Taylorsville with the desire to touch the lives of each resident. To her great surprise, the residents have been the ones to touch her life. She loves to laugh with the residents, cry with them and spend time talking to them. Michele feels so fortunate to glean from the wisdom the residents have gained during their lives. She feels very fortunate to be able to work in a community that she absolutely loves and that blesses her life so much. She has been married for 25+ years and is the mother of four children, and loves spending time with them and her grandchildren.
Melina Huavi, Assistant Administrator
Melina has been working in the health care industry for 10+ years. She started as a caregiver/ CNA working home health care, later as a Med Tech and also as a supervisor in a transitional home. While working, Melina attended Butte College, pursuing a degree in nursing. She plans to finish her degree here in Utah and would like to become a midwife practitioner. Melina has worked for Legacy for the last two years and enjoys the wonderful culture of Personal Touch that surrounds the company. “It feels like home when I go to work. They are all my family. We share our lives together and that‘s how work should be”. In her free time, Melina enjoys being in nature with her dog, gardening, traveling, and trying new things.
Rose Draper, Administrative Assistant
Rose knows firsthand what it is like to have a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease—both her father-in-law and mother-in-law were former residents at Legacy House of Taylorsville. Rose is proud to work in a community with associates who truly care for its residents and their families and provides a safe environment where there is a real sense of caring and love. Rose shares with families that are thinking about placing a loved one in a community that Legacy House of Taylorsville was a lifesaver for both of her in-laws and for her family. Rose has been with Legacy since 2006, but has been working in the healthcare industry for the past 20 years. Rose enjoys camping and traveling with her husband and children.
Trista Matheson, Resident Care Coordinator
Trista has been working for Legacy since she was 18 years old. She worked as a CNA, Med Tech and Assistant Resident Care Coordinator at Legacy House of Taylorsville, before becoming the Resident Care Coordinator at our Spanish Fork community. She attended Weber State University where she became a licensed Registered Nurse and later received her bachelor's degree in nursing. Trista has grown to love caring for the elderly. In her spare time, she loves traveling with her husband, four-wheeling, swimming, and hiking.
Candi Ingraham, Dining Services Director
Prior to joining the Legacy House of Taylorsville team, Candi worked at our sister-community, Legacy Retirement Residence of South Jordan. Candi has worked in catering and also as a sous chef. She loves to share what she has learned in those roles with her team. She especially enjoys working with the elderly because she didn't have any grandparents growing up. Candi and her husband have two wonderful children. Candi enjoys spending time with her family, scrapbooking with Project Life, all sports, camping, fishing, hiking and animals.
Ann Grangroth, Activity Director
Ann grew up in Western Colorado but has lived in Utah for 40+ years. She has worked with seniors for 25+ years in both marketing and recreation. She enjoys creating fun and interesting activities for the residents at Legacy House of Taylorsville. Ann loves to hear about the resident's lives and treasures the time she gets to spend with them. They make every day special for her. Ann and her husband like to travel in their motor home and enjoy good movies. They also enjoy the time they spend with family and friends.
Tyler Standing, Maintenance Director
Tyler's goal as Maintenance Director is to make Legacy House of Taylorsville the most pleasant community to live in--the appearance, the smell, helpful staff--all of it is important to Tyler. He was raised in Taylorsville and attended Salt Lake Community College where he graduated in the construction management program. Tyler is a hands-on manager. He enjoys working closely with his team and especially enjoys serving The Greatest Generation. Tyler admires and looks up to them immensely. He feels that he owes them a lot for giving us the freedoms we enjoy. In his free time, he enjoy hunting, camping, and fishing – anything outdoors and with family. Tyler also enjoys golfing, playing sports, and watching his BYU Cougars win.
